Definitely a great game. A lot of fun if you're easily addicted to challenging arcade games. Enjoy!

I voted a 5 ^_^ 3.61 / 5.00 (+ 0.0038)
It is a lot of fun to play and very exciting. It definitely needs a story line and more characters, but I hope you don't take the easy route with a simple arcade mode that unlocks characters, this can really become a great project if you develop an intricate story line that ties together the lives of many different characters. Good luck to you and I hope that you go far with this flash ^_^

"Interesting concept..."

submission: StarShine

I like the whole idea but I have a pretty simple problem with it. The direction in which the stars head after being hit seems pretty arbitrary and so in my experience, one quickly ends up guessing which stars to hit and in what direction since there are only so many options...

To avoid this becoming a game of guess and check rather than puzzle solving, I would suggest you create a few levels that show the direction of all the stars to be hit instead of the one that will be directly hit so that players can get a feel for how to hit all of the stars.

Again, nice game! Keep it up.

Author's Response:

How Stars shoot out when hit:
Blue Stars - Shoot 2 particles perpendicular to where the star was hit.
Purple Star: 45 degree angle to the front left of where it was hit.
Red Star: 2 stars at 20 degree angles backwards.
Green Star: A whole lot of stars shoot out at equal angles, the first shooting straight ahead from where it was hit.
Orange star: 3 shots out, at 120 degree angle seperation with the first being in the same direction as it was hit.

to consider would include the length. I understand it was meant to be a short animation but when depicting the history of any concept, one must remember to exploit the depth of that history or else the impression left upon the viewer is limited. I suggest an extension of the movie in both ways, bringing it back to possibly the creation of the world before man in chinese myth or depicting how the world achieves balance after the dragon comes forth.

The graphics looked a bit hasty in certain scenes but other than that, it was flawless. I really enjoyed the alternate ending! Oh and I'm a bit upset that some of the signs weren't readable since the signs that were had me rolling from laughter. Thanks for the submission and keep it up!

You did quite well, but there were a decent bit of problems. Mainly with timing the sounds. The lip movements were going on even after he had finished speaking and the scene where he says "I hear and obey" didn't show up until he finished saying the phrase. Your animation is well done, especially when he removed the top of his head. The way it looked as if it stretched and all were good, but you need to work on the graphics. Spend a little more time with them. Good job and keep it up!

Dim Sum Girl

"Nicely Done!"

submission: Dim Sum Girl
date: January 28, 2006

I liked it very much and am impressed ^_^
If you dont mind a lil constructive critcism:
-DON'T BE LAZY XP The whole thing was nice but it could have been longer and cleaned up =oP A lot of the girls were made in a hasty lookin fasion as well as the ''real dim sum girl'' at the end

However, nice job! Spend more time on your flashes and make more that aren't emo and I'm sure that you'll make a top notch flash really quickly!

Author's Response:

thankies! i swear to you, I would if I could lol spend more time on this! But at the end, the real dim sum girl was supposed to be ugly as in my experience, real dim sum girls are far from hot! lol

thanks for the review and advice again! u rock :)

The video/graphics were well done; however, you lost me on some of the story. (Forgive me if I interpreted a story where one did not exist). The music was good but it was too repetitive and lacked any form of change. Keep up the good work!

Snowball Fight!

"Very well done!"

submission: Snowball Fight!
date: December 27, 2005

The graphics were much better than you're inclined to see on ng and so I was great impressed. An earlier reviewer mentioned the idea about a story line. I believe some sort of adventure gameplay mode would most definetly boost appreciation of this game. The controls are also a bit difficult to master. You might want to make it optional for the snowballs to move with your bodies momentum (although I have to say that is quite an original concept that you won't find often).

Once again, very well done!

Author's Response:

Thank you.

FYI: The snowball does have inertia.
