"Wow that was really worth it :P"
Definitely a great game. A lot of fun if you're easily addicted to challenging arcade games. Enjoy!

I voted a 5 ^_^ 3.61 / 5.00 (+ 0.0038)
It is a lot of fun to play and very exciting. It definitely needs a story line and more characters, but I hope you don't take the easy route with a simple arcade mode that unlocks characters, this can really become a great project if you develop an intricate story line that ties together the lives of many different characters. Good luck to you and I hope that you go far with this flash ^_^

I like the whole idea but I have a pretty simple problem with it. The direction in which the stars head after being hit seems pretty arbitrary and so in my experience, one quickly ends up guessing which stars to hit and in what direction since there are only so many options...
To avoid this becoming a game of guess and check rather than puzzle solving, I would suggest you create a few levels that show the direction of all the stars to be hit instead of the one that will be directly hit so that players can get a feel for how to hit all of the stars.
Again, nice game! Keep it up.
Author's Response:
How Stars shoot out when hit:
Blue Stars - Shoot 2 particles perpendicular to where the star was hit.
Purple Star: 45 degree angle to the front left of where it was hit.
Red Star: 2 stars at 20 degree angles backwards.
Green Star: A whole lot of stars shoot out at equal angles, the first shooting straight ahead from where it was hit.
Orange star: 3 shots out, at 120 degree angle seperation with the first being in the same direction as it was hit.
